The British Standard Pipe (BSP) is typically used internationally for interconnecting and sealing pipe ends by mating an external (male) with an internal (female) thread and has been adopted as a standard scale used in plumbing fittings, except in the United States and more commonly the oil and gas industry where NPT is the standard used. BSP threads are imperial (inch) sizes and the pitch is measured in TPI (threads per inch).
All BSP (British Standard Pipe) hand taps from Presto are available in sets or as individual taps (first/taper, second, plug/bottom hand taps). Hand taps are all straight fluted and can be used as machine taps if required. Available x-stock from Cutwel for next day delivery - buy now.
