What time can I order until?

We are open Monday to Friday until 6pm. Our main courier leaves at 6pm so just to be safe please try and order before 5.45pm so it leaves time for your order to be processed.

Please note we have a specific courier who delivers liquids and packages over 30kg’s, so if your order could be either of these, this courier leaves between 4-4.30pm so please try and order before then.


Do you do Saturday deliveries?

Yes we do. We can offer Saturday all day delivery for £17.50. We also offer timed Saturday deliveries (Pre12am/Pre10.30am). Please click here to view all our delivery options.


Can I get items quicker than the lead times shown on the website?

If an item is not in stock the estimated lead time will be shown on the product page, however, these lead times are estimated and are based on the general time it takes to get to you when we order from it from our supplier.

Sometimes we already have them on order and the lead time may be shorter.

Depending on the product and the availability of our supplier we may be able to offer a direct from our supplier.

Where can I find your ISO certificates?

As we don’t manufacture our products we don’t have ISO certificates directly. However we do hold a selection of our suppliers ISO certificates and these are available on request. Please contact us here if you require these.



Where can I find cutting data?

Cutting Data should be available on every applicable product page. You will find a PDF in the technical information tab of all our cutting tools. More information on finding cutting data is available here.

How do I apply for a credit account?

Here at Cutwel we offer a 30 day end of month credit account for suitable applicants. For more information on our credit accounts and how to apply please click here.

Do you do on the road reps?

We do not have on the road reps as such because we primarily offer technical advice and expertise over the phone. Most of our enquiries are usually handled this way. However, from time to time we understand that an on-site visit may be required by one of our time served engineers.

How do I return an item?

If you would like to speak to us about returning your order, then please call us on 01924 869 610 and one of our customer service team will be on hand to assist you. If you have already arranged a return and you need our returns address please see our returns page.


What calibration do you offer?

If you are wanting to purchase a measuring tool with calibration or are wanting to calibrate your own tooling then we can provide full UKAS calibration for you. For more information please see our UKAS calibration page.

What does ‘subject to availability’ mean on product pages?

Next to all our lead times on the website we put subject to availability. These lead times are estimated and are based on the general time it takes to get to you when we order from it from our supplier. Our supplier must have it in stock for us to achieve this lead time. Sometimes it may be quickjer if we already have it on order with them.

How do I request a visit to Cutwel?

At our offices in Cleckheaton, just off the M62 near Bradford, West Yorkshire, we have 2 fantastic show rooms for you to come and see. Our tooling centre boasts a wide range of cutting tools, workholding and tool holding equipment for you to come and view first hand. Our metrologoy room showcases the latest measuring tool technology for you to try out.

One of our experienced technical engineers will be on hand to show you round and help with any tooling packages, product recommendations or anything else you may wish to discuss.


Does Cutwel supply to countries outside of the UK?

No unfortunately we don’t. We only supply to the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. For us to supply a quotation or process any orders we require a UK or Irish delivery address.

Can I get a same day delivery?

Same day deliveries are available depending on location and time of order. If you need a same day delivery we know it’s urgent so speak to one of our team and use the live chat feature here for an instant response.


Do I have a dedicated account manager?

If you are a company then you will usually be assigned a dedicated account manager. Once you register with us, shortly after your account manager will be in touch to introduce themselves.
