HSC (High Speed) Milling Cutters

The i-Smart replaceable head milling system uses 4G Mill geometry milling heads with HSS modular shanks. Replaceable heads are available from 10mm to 32mm diameter.
X-Power is ideal for high speed cutting of steels, pre-hardened steels, hardened steels & cast iron. It also offers good performance in finish machining of stainless steels.
4G Mills offer higher performance and higher accuracy machining than X-Power in steels, pre-hardened steels & hardened steels. It also offers good general machining of stainless steels & cast iron.
Made from NANOGRAIN carbide with a silicon based coating, offering ultimate performance in HSC machining of steels and hardened steels up to HRc70.
Excellent performance and tool life in roughing & finishing of stainless steels and HRSA’s. Jet Power uses traditional HSC cutting methods for machining stainless steel and HRSA’s (medium to high cutting speeds with small depth of cut).
CBN milling cutters are designed for ultra-high speed machining of high hardened steels <HRc70. The substrate is sintered to the carbide shank & offers tool life vastly superior to solid carbide. CBN is designed for dry machining only with highly rigid set-ups.

HSC milling cutters are typically designed for machining of steels, pre-hardened steels and high-hardened steels <HRc70. They employ strong cutting edges with harder carbide substrates, ideal for machining at high RPM’s.
