These taps are specifically designed to prevent oversized threads and reduce gauging problems, offering high speeds & feeds for optimum efficiency. Specially designed oil grooves also help to reduce friction & heat build-up.

The Prime X-Coated range is made from a tough powder metal substrate, with its unique X-coating providing increased tool life over standard HSS 5% cobalt taps.
