Our simple 5-step process for bringing your tools back to life

Step 1

Using the enquiry form above, please get in touch with our expert team who will send a price guide and order form back to you ASAP.

Step 2

Send your tools along with the completed order form to us.

Step 3

We will inspect and provide a quote based on their condition within 3 working days.

Step 4

The regrinding process will begin, approx. 5–10 days depending on volume. Recoating will take longer.

Step 5

Once tool reconditioning is complete, we will return your tools back to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the regrinding process take?

Typically between 5-10 working days, but high quantities may take longer and coating adds an additional 10 working days.

Can you regrind/recoat tooling not supplied Cutwel?

Yes we can. The brand or manufacturer of tooling does not make difference.

What coating do we offer?

The standard coating we use during the recoating process is a TiCN coating for hardened and stainless steel.

Are carriage costs applicable?

We’ve lowered the free-carriage threshold for regrind orders to £15 and over (ex vat), the standard carriage rates will apply for orders below £15.

What types of tooling do you regrind as standard?

As part of this process, we currently offer regrinds on round-shank tools.

Do you offer regrinds/recoating on tooling non-standard tooling?

We deal with any special requests on a case by case basis. Please fill in our enquiry form with as much information as possible and one of our team will get back to you with a guide price.
