In order to better service customers in the Republic of Ireland, Cutwel are proud to launch a dedicated Irish website cutwel.ie. All of the core functionality of the UK’s industry leading webshop is present, but optimisations have been made on this new site for an Irish audience, including:

• EURO prices are shown as default
• Live, up-to-date currency exchange rate integration.
• Dedicated Irish delivery options on checkout.
• VAT exemption if applicable (otherwise Irish VAT rate of 23% is applied)
• Irish telephone number – say goodbye to international calling charges!

Over the last few months, Cutwel have significantly improved our offering to Irish customers by reducing the stress or inconvenience of ordering from the UK.

For instance, to accommodate a frictionless trade, Cutwel have now registered as a VAT entity in Ireland. This now enables Cutwel to ship direct to customers without the request for payment at the border. Cutwel now acts as the shipper and receiver, paying all duties and taxes due via the TAN account. In short, no request for taxes and duties payment will be made to the customer.

Delivery charges have also been slashed to increase Cutwel’s competitiveness in the marketplace. Now, a 2-day DPD courier delivery to Ireland is just €7.50, regardless of the order value, which is a significant saving over the old charges.
