The 29.6523 series from Karnasch is a CVD Diamond reduced neck corner radius end mill which ranges from 2-12mm diameter. CVD (99.9% diamond) have 4-5 times the tool life comapred to PCD and are ideal for carbon fibre, glass reinforced plastics, kevlar, aramid, titanium and abrasive plastics.
0.1mm chamfer edge preparation protects the cutting edge.
CVD Diamond is the ultimate composite milling tool, twice as hard as PCD and can only be ground by laser. For the most abrasive composites or when the longest tool life is required.
