CoolSpeed Mini is a cost-effective alternative to a mechanical spindle speeder. The key difference is that CoolSpeed is driven purely by air, coolant or oil and doesn’t have any gears. It does not require any mechanical power from the milling machine spindle. 

CoolSpeed can be used on any CNC machining centre, lathe or multi-tasking machine providing it has adequate air or coolant pressure. There are special models for Star and Citizen sliding head lathes as well as 90 degree angle head spindle speeder options. The adjustable angle CoolSpeed Mini allows for high speed drilling or light milling at any angle.

For the best clamping, CoolSpeed should be held in a hydraulic chuck or a sealed collet chuck. It is not advised to be clamped in any holder with side clamping such as a side lock arbor or indexable drilling holder.
