Dream Drill Steel As the name suggests this is a dedicated drill for steel and is also suitable for cast iron. They are available in stub length 3xD and jobber length 5xD and range from Ø1mm up to Ø20mm.
This would be your first choice drill for general drilling of alloy steel & pre hardened steel <45HRC, and cast iron. The range features a special ground geometry dedicated for steel drilling with a TiALN coating to help improve tool life and protect against heat build up. Available on nominal shanks makes them suitable for clamping in high precision hydraulic chucks.
Dream Drill Inox Dedicated series for high performance drilling of stainless steel, HRSA’s, low carbon & low alloy steels. The dream drill inox range has a 140° drill point with special Point-R thinning geometry that prevents workpieces hardening, cutting edge build up and improved chip control.
Inox dream drills feature a TiAlN coating and through coolant technology for maximum tool life, chip evacuation and outstanding surface finish. Drill diameters range from Ø1mm – Ø20mm in 3xD, 5xD and 8xD drill depths, this is your first choice drill for stainless steel and exotic materials. Dream Drill Alu The high performance carbide drill range dedicated for precision drilling of aluminium and aluminium alloys. Dream Drill Alu Features a unique flute geometry and special point thinning design to prevent chip welding, whilst polished flutes maximise chip control and improve surface finish. Combine these features with the through coolant capabilities and you have your first choice drill for precision drilling of non ferrous materials.
The Dream Drill Alu ranges from Ø3mm – Ø20mm with available lengths in 3xD, 5xD and 8xD.
Dream Drill MQL (minimum quantity lubrication) dedicated dream drill range for deep hole drilling in steel <30HRC and cast iron, featuring a nano layered TiAlN coating to protect against heat build up and premature tool wear. MQL drills special flute geometry has been designed to maximise chip removal in deep hole drilling preventing chip clogging.
MQL drills are designed to run with through coolant to aid with chip removal, they are available in lengths up to 30xD and diameters range from Ø3mm – Ø14mm. Dream Drill Flat Bottom The perfect solution for drilling holes on various angled surfaces, the 180° point angle enables drilling of horizontal and curved surfaces, some applications may include chained hole drilling, cross hole drilling, thin plate drilling to minimise exit burrs, guide drilling on sloped or angled surfaces and counterboring.
