Advantages
Slash Cycle Times
Reduce cycle times by up to 50% over conventional milling
Large Diameters
The largest diameters in high feed
milling up to 315mm
High Feed Per Tooth
Up to 2.5mm feed per tooth, under 2mm depth of cut with up to 14 teeth
Ultra-High Metal Removal
Negative geometry & wide chip pockets allows you to feed faster for longer
Features
6 Cutting Edges
Double sided insert gives 6 usable edges, for extreme cost-efficiency
Stability & Support
Simple screw-on system & stable support gives strong clamping force
High Rake Cutting Edge
Superior cutting performance and low resistance at high feeds
Through Coolant
Reduced cutting heat for improved chip control & tool life
HRM Double Inserts
Insert Designation:
WNMX
The HRM double high feed milling inserts (WNMX) utilise 6 cutting edges for an economical lower cost per edge compared to other tools with positive inserts.
They feature a negative geometry with high range angle for reduced cutting load.
Chip Breaker Guide
Chipbreaker | Cutting Edge | Application | Description |
---|---|---|---|
ML | Stainless Steel / HRSA's | Chip breaker with low cutting load is ideal for machining hard-to-cut materials such as stainless steel, titanium, inconel and hastelloy. | |
MF | Light Cutting / Finishing / Soft Steels | With low cutting load & sharper cutting edge. Excellent for finishing operations, general milling of soft steels & also ideal for low power machines due to low cutting resistance. | |
MM | General Machining | Optimal for milling in general machining conditions. |
