Thread Cutting Dies, Split Dies, Solid Dies and Hexagon Die Nuts

Split dies are adjustable for precision threading of bolts, studs, rods and other pieces that require external threading by hand. Also ideal for cleaning/repairing external threads.

Hexagon die nuts are ideal for repairing broken or worn threads by hand. Also useful for machining new external threads in difficult to reach applications.

Die stocks ideal for holding split or solid dies. Presto die stocks have knurled handles for sturdy and easy grip. Three screws are used to clamp split dies securely.

Solid dies are used for cutting external threads generally by hand when used in a metric die stock. There is no adjustment.
